There is no good nor bad experience, but new Experience. Day I: My Nice Family Host I arrived in LAX about 11:10, August 20. I couldn't sleep on the plane and the guy sitting beside me kept talking to me. He lives in Riverside and has been here like more than 10 years. He was warm to me and told me about the life in the states. I got scared by his talking... Anyway, it's different from what I could see on the Internet. I can't remember what exactly he was trying to me. The only thing I could remember is I was scared. Haha... When I got out of the Customs, I saw someone holding a paperboard, with my name on it. That's the guy the I-place sent to pick me up! Leo is a Chinese but spoke English to me. I didn't like it. I insisted to using Chinese, finally he gave up! Haha. After a while, I found there was another girl, named Xingying Pan he was waiting for on the same flight with me. YuanFen!!! We talked a lot on the way to the I-place New University. I have to say. my college is beautiful, the air is fresh. Oh! I have to fasten my belt on the car, while I didn't have that habit back in China, which makes me like a stupid girl. Haha... At I-place, we met Director Donald and Janis Hsu (sounds like Xu, and she comes from Philippine. By the way, she is beautiful.) There we met two Chinese students, one comes here for MBA and the other is my classmate! He and I am going to be in the same department! Haha, I've got a classmate from the same country. Good news for me! Donald helped me contact my family host and they were waiting for me. I was supposed to be nervous like what I imagined before. But I don't have enough energy to be so. Before that, Leo helped Pan move into her apartment. Meanwhile I just visited mine. We've got microwave, oven, toaster, dish washer, big refrigerator... Everything is settle down. Oh, I made a silly pronunciation in the community room and that lady couldn't understand me! Haha... Later, we got a money order at the post office. And I have to say, the girl in the Citi-Bank is very nice! I am sorry I am not gonna open an account there. About 5 o'clock, I finally got my place. Mary and Reni were waiting for me. R is a good chef, and he made the pasta. That is good I am kinda like it. There are beans, meat and... I don't know for sure. I was too tired and hungry to hear anything and say anything.
